Name?
My name is Caleb Jemitola

Tell us a bit about you?
I am currently 17 going to be 18 on the 23rd of June I have a sister and I live with both my parents in Abuja. I am about to graduate from secondary school and by the grace of God I will be off to the UK for my a levels. I am generally a nice but I definitely have my not so nice moments. I want to be a mechanical engineer who is also a photographer (I believe there is no conflict there), and I someday want to pick up a combat sport like judo or capoeira some day.

What type of camera do you use?
I use a Canon EOS 60D DSLR

How do you train yourself to take better pictures?
It’s all about practice but to be honest its really trial and error. I find out what works and then take notes. I really experiment a lot with new techniques as much as I can.

How do you describe your style of work?
Its very laid back and fun because if your not having fun you wont love what your doing so I am to make everyone comfortable and happy including myself.

Which has been your most challenging shoot ever?
I would have to say anything under close up photography like the one I posted on my blog of the eye because if you are 1mm too close or too far the picture would come out blurry

What attracted you to want to be a photographer?
My uncle Dayo Adedayo is a really successful photographer and I always thought his pictures where the coolest things ever, then we started doing photography as trade in my school and it was the only subject that allowed me to get creative so I basically jumped on it and gave it all I had and here I am.

Amongst your works, which is your favorite and why?
Its really hard for me to pick a favorite over all because I have taken so many I have my favorites in different categories.

Who's your mentor in photography?
My Uncle Dayo Adedayo.

What challenges do you face as a photographer?
People don’t understand the creativity and the skill it takes to be a photographer. They think there is nothing behind it but it’s actually fairly complex. I also get annoyed when people don’t see the art behind a picture.

What motivates you to continue taking pictures?
I just like preserving a moment and looking back at it so it brings back the feeling I had when I first saw it.

Which is correct to say, “The yolk of the egg is white” or “The yolk of the egg are white?”
The yolk of the egg is white (But isn’t it really yellow?)

A farmer has seventeen sheep. All but nine of them die. How many sheep does he have left?
9

If 3 peacocks lay 5 eggs in 8 days, how many peacocks will lay 29 eggs in 76 days?
I am done with math in secondary school please don’t bring it back to me !!!!!!!!! LOL.

List 5 words to describe your character?
Charismatic
Optimistic
Caring
Intelligent
Gentlemanly.

Tell us a bit about your blog?
The name of my blog is The New Bloods Photography the URL is calebjemitola.blogspot.com. Basically the blog comprises of the photographs I have taken (with no editing). Basically its my platform to show the world my pictures.

Where do you see yourself in the next 10years?
I see myself as a successful mechanical engineer with two masters and still practicing photography, possibly engaged (I don’t intend in getting married until I’m 30) with possibly my own firm and a side job in photography.
