Meet Damilola oguntominiyi popularly known as RDC is a Nigerian Afro pop musician. R.D.C is a citizen of Nigeria from osun state. He was raised and brought up in Abuja, RDC was born on the 21st June 1998. R.D.C is a student of Civil engineering in Canada. R.D.C found the love of music in the year 2013 and has recorded about seven singles. R.D.C has done a couple of collaborations with artists in both lagos and Abuja and has done a lot of performances.

Tell us Abit about yourself?

Well, my name is Damilola, but I prefer being called Dammy, I am turning 19 by June. I am studying engineering in Canada, I am from a family of 5, 4 girls and 1 boy. I love to play soccer and I also love to make music.

What are you listening to lately?

A lot of Kiss Daniel's songs, Wizkid and also Lil Uzi vert.

What's your favorite album by an artist?

New Era by kiss Daniel.

What song of yours are you proud of?

I am proud of all the songs I make. Cause I put in a lot of work just to get the best of what I love to do.

How do you get your songs out there?

Well, with the help of social media, and also the help of my sisters. They have really been supportive and I appreciate every single soul in support of my music. Won't let you guys down.

How long have you been doing this?

Hmm. It's been a while. I remember back when I was in like Jss1, lol I used to sing any of wizkid's songs in my school when we are having any event. Wizkid I'd say motivated me into making my own songs. And it all started as a joke until I found my passion in music.

Who are your Role Models?

My number one role model I would say is my Dad, Then Wizkid follows and lastly, Bimbo Queens cause seeing her work so hard towards her music career encourages me to put in more work. she would always tell me if what I am doing is wrong or right. And if I am wrong, she puts me through. I give her all credits.

What would you be doing if you weren't doing music?

I would probably just focus on studying engineering alone.

Any performances yet?

Yes. I had a lot of performances already in Nigeria, mostly Abuja and lagos, also a few in Canada.

What's next for you, upcoming projects and all that?

I'm working on my E.p but before then, I'd be releasing singles at least every month. And definitely, I am working on some features with lots of people and I am also getting featured. Currently, I have worked with Bimbo Queens, Photizo, AllXDay who is an international artist and so much more. Oh and Maxiiola. Basically, I am taking my music to the world! May God see us through.
