This is because we have here an intensely enthusiastic, earnest and passionate Entrepreneur. She started modelling from age 5 and by 19 she set up her first business. At a very young age she choose to carve out a niche for herself and we believe this interview would serve as a moral booster for aspiring young teenagers. She has never stopped walking the talk and her plans to be one of the biggest stake holders in the cosmetic world stage and has started materializing. This beauty has wasted no effort in making sure she beautifies as many women and as she can with her beauty artifacts. They all have different names for me .

Could you describe a Typical workday for You?

Very busy, I pay too much attention to details . 

What sacrifices have you had to make to succeed in this Field?  

Everyday I make sacrifices............. Too many to mention, Some include very tough personal decisions.
 

Are there any Negatives to your Job?

Challenges is a better word......... I don't like to use the word negatives in a working environment.  I believe my faith in God. That allows me to understand that God has made me the head and not the tail and that even in the craziest storm he is with me and upholds me to do great things. Also I understand from past experience in my life that the greater the challenge once goes through and over come the higher the reward . We all face obstacles. How you deal with those obstacles defines who you are and determines how successful you are in life.

Do you find your Work Exciting or boring? Why?

Exciting and challenging at the same time.

Leadership constantly presents challenges both to the leader's abilities and to him as a person. Things change, change brings challenge, and no matter how good a leader I am , I can't stop that from happening. Some challenges come in the form of people or problems that present obstacles to reaching a goal. Every leader must face many of them and learn to deal with them in some way. It may seem like "challenges" is another word for "problems" but that's not necessarily true. Sometimes positive situations present the greatest challenges, and in such situations I keep testing how I make use of opportunities. For me a challenge is an invitation to rise to another level, to test myself and improve in the process, to show that I  can accomplish something that may seem difficult, or even impossible in discharging my duties 

How did you learn this skills?

I Started working from the age of 16 in different industries, I set up my 1st business at the age of 19 and over the years I've managed to gather major experience in the world of business . I'm humbled by all that I've experienced at my age, I'm thankful growth and the way God has blessed me. 

Who are some people that have inspired you throughout your career?

My mother is my number one role model and she has inspired me through it all . 

The greatest field of interest I ever had was beauty and lifestyle Therefore, I started finding out about some world-class cosmetics brands that have attained extraordinary achievements. I learn about the great world of cosmetics. The people in this industry are relentlessly never give room for their environment to determine their destiny instead, the application of their ideas of beauty, aesthetics and general wellness designs gave The beauty industry the reputable looks that people are enjoying today. I love my country Nigeria so much and I believe we are just as intelligent and have all that it takes to be better than all these other countries that produce make up and skin care products. I want my kids and grand kids to enjoy and live what others may call luxury as an average standard here in Nigeria. All these have made me decide to join fellow fast futuristic cosmetics entrepreneur to develop a top class high performance cosmetics line to change the face of Nigeria 

What's a normal none working day in the life of Dabota Lawson like?

If am not out of the country I'm with my family. I love spending time with my siblings and my niece . Such a breathe of fresh air always . 

How has your job affected your lifestyle?

Wow! My job has affected my lifestyle in so many ways I can't even begin to put it all in one paragraph. I live and breathe my work because most of my wonderful customers depend on my personal input  and i can't help but be personally involved in every process from when products are being manufactured to when it gets to the end user.

Simple , classy , elegant

My family albums  

What is it about your style that sets you apart from others in this same Business?

I'm always working with a business model with a team of very articulate business analyst. I don't just jump on the band wagon . It's important to consider so many variables when you're in business especially in Africa . 

What seasons of the year are the toughest for business?

Mid January is usually the least busy business period because it's just after the holiday season and most people are just settling back into their everyday routines and not really thinking of shopping 

What are some common Beauty mistakes that women Make?

It's important to become comfortable in your skin and understand your body . Not everything out there suits everyone . 

What products do you think every woman should have in her purse?

Face tissues and lipstick 

Where do you see yourself in 5years?

I see my brand becoming the preferred makeup brand for all women of color
